Happy Day After

A few notes about love from Aine Minogue:

A toast in honor of St. Valentine:

May those that love us, love us
And for those who don't love us
may God turn their hearts.
And if God cannot turn their hearts,
may He turn their ankles,
so we may know them by their limping.

Beal House Photos

Many thanks to the fabulous photographer and Beal House sound man Glenn Thayer, who, in between mixing the band, managed to also take thesephotos last night! Thank you to Glenn.

Thank you, Beal House!

Thank you so much to the folks at the Beal House and the South Shore Folk Music Club for hosting our show last night--a CD release--at the Beal House. It was an overwhelming turnout and we felt so happy to have such great support from our families, old friends, and new friends in music. Last night was the sort of "pre" release, as due to a series of production mess ups, the final CD did not come in, and through much juggling and last minute insanity, our engineer Rob Pemberton created advance copies for us... Brian Haley was with us on drums, and we were joined by special guests Mike Anctil on bass, the fabulous Denya Levine on fiddle, and Helen Kisiel on piano.

Now it's time to get ready for St. Patrick's! Much fun planned... a March 15 concert as part of the Homespun Trad concert series at the Olde Inn in West Dennis, a family concert (please bring the kids!) to Kiskadee Coffee on March 17... and our annual St. Patrick's blowout at the Snug, from 7-10 pm.

Hooray!

We love it all.
